Do people really drop over a grand for shoes?

Well, the answer is yes. Yes they do. One example is this Alexander McQueen shoe sold by Zappos.com. This shoe costs more than $1,000! I don't really care how elite the brand is, for that kind of money my shoes would need to provide a massage and allow me to fly.

My wife would certainly complain that I tend to buy the best stuff, from my espresso machine to my grill to my golf clubs and shoes. The most expensive shoes that I own are my Footjoy Premieres. These are wonderful golf shoes that cost about $250. I tend to burn through cheap golf shoes in a single season but these have already lasted three season. That makes them a good investment.

I felt guilty about spending that kind of money for a pair of shoes and that was 1/4 of what these Alexander McQueen shoes cost!

Here's another example Alexander McQueen men's shoe.

They are great looking shoes and would be the perfect accompaniment with a custom Armani suit but I'd be too scared to actually where them outside in the real world.

Seeing a man dressed in a nice shirt with a scruffy pair of shoes is really 'off-putting'. Seeing a well dressed man with sleek, comfortable looking shoes is encouraging to a woman because she instantly gets the impression that she would be cared about too!

Sure they are expensive but they look fantastic and when you wear them you feel like a million bucks, confident and sexy.
