Harley Davidson Brando Men's Boot -- First Impressions
Last week my order for a pair of Harley Davidson Brando boots arrived.

I've only had a opportunity to wear them twice. Once for a bit of shopping to start the break-in process and one for an hour long ride on my Softail. I'm thankful that my bike has floor boards and a heel/toe shifter otherwise it would be very difficult to shift gears because the thick soles on these boots make them difficult to bend. As it is, I have to lift my foot entirely off of the floor boards to up shift or down shift. Not too big of a deal and I'm hoping that once they are broken in they will start to bend.
My feet are a bit between sizes 9.5 and 10. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they actually have plenty of room so it would seem that these boots run a .25 size or so large.
I really like the way these boots look and feel. The side zipper is very handy, allowing you to remove the boots without needing to untie the boots. It's a bit tight doing this but it can be done without much effort and it beats having to untie them, yes, I know that you have to be quite lazy to be bothered by a small step like tying and untying your shoes.
Back to the boots. They seem to be quite well made and they are very substantial. Perfect for added protection while riding and they really do look rather sweet. All in all, I'd recommend them to my fellow riders. Just be prepared to not be able to flex your foot with the unyielding sole until they are thoroughly broken in.
